Runner Dude

Mile 26 Running Co was founded in 2015 by Josh Spiker. Josh was born and raised in Ventura and started running when he was six years old with the Ventura Tigres Youth Track & Field Club. He went on to Ventura High School where he was a State Champion and was a high school All American. After graduating from Ventura he went to the University of Wisconsin-Madison (Badgers) where was an All-American in both cross country and track.

Graphic Deigner/ Shoe Guru

Jen is the head of Graphic and Store Design for both Mile 26 and with our race directing business Race Fox Events. She wears a lot of different hats and is also a fine art painter and art teacher for kids and adults in Ventura. Jen has been running since college, but didn't find the passion for racing until she met Josh in 2009. Since then she has finished several Half Marathons, 2 Full Marathons, 1 Full IronMan and several Half IronMan races (by far her favorite distance event). 

Baby Runner

The newest edition to Mile 26 Running Co born October 2020. Dylan is Josh and Jen's new little dude and future Shoe Guru. You can find him in the shop from time to time. He loves running, cheering on other runners, and smiling at customers both human and dog. 

Mascot

Dexter is the store's mascot and all around happy dog. He loves anything outside, especially running at the beach or on trails. Beware he might climb into your lap if you give him some extra love.
